The Jarleth Eaton Show

Better than Ja Rule...
Better than Jar Jar Binks...

It's The Jarleth Eaton Show!

Jar-Jar Thinks

From 4th August 2010

Well, the first update onto my mini site. Absolutely loved the first couple of shows I did before I went away on holiday. Although, to be honest, the holidays I have had have not gone the way I had hoped.

On the first holiday with my dad, I was really ill. So much so, I couldn't go down to the beach, something I had been looking forward to doing ever since I found out I was going to Devon. Then, I had to go to go to the doctors just in case I could not go on holiday with my mom in Lanzarote. Luckily, they said yes, I would have been devastated if I had to stay at home. However, I had to take so much prescription medication. I was like Lindsay Lohan for crying out loud.

Anyway, enough about the bad bits of the last few weeks. Let's move on. There are so many great things happening soon, like the football season starting next week in the Npower leagues, and the Premier League starting on the 15th August. The rugby season gets underway soon too, plus the England v Pakistan cricket series and the best day in cricket, the Friends Provident T20 Finals Day. I tell you something, I am buzzing for August.

Music wise, a couple of songs have finally come out, Billionaire by Travie McCoy & Bruno Mars, and All Time Low by The Wanted. I am absolutely in love with Billionaire. I think it will be a massive summer anthem and will easily make number one with Tom and Berry next month. But I think that All Time Low is a record which will either grow on me or I will hate it with a passion. We will see how it goes.

Festival wise, Underage is coming up soon, and I can't wait to go either. Tinie Tempah is the man I want to see tear up the festival as well as Tinchy Stryder. Then we have Reading and Leeds, the last big festivals of the summer. There is still a huge summer of music to come, to add to a fantastic summer already. I think this has been the best summer of music ever, with the highlight Florence and the Machine's performance at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend.

I can't wait to get back home and do my next show with you guys. I should be back next month with a lot of stories to tell. Until then, keep listening to KIC FM and I will speak to soon!!!!!!!
