Kenny and Jamie were walking around Music Live 2009 when they heard a band in a van, they loved it so much they swapped the van for our big yellow trailer! Joyous are from Wolverhampton and Birmingham and are completely awesome! Listen to their interview, their exclusive accounting trailer tracks and how much they love each other! Heyhey People!!! Just giving you a quick recap! We've had a fantastic day today! Pendiford School came in and female KickBoxers beat us up. The footy balls came in for a FootyBalls quiz. Jess, Tony, Jack and Tom all played. Then came the Jack Berry quiz followed by the Tom Smith thingy! We're interviewing Joyeous B as i type. They're a fantastic local band! We're joined by Craig and Rusty who'll be jumping on with us. Shaun is making an apperience later with Adam. We've got a band coming in at 10..Keep tuned!!

Young people from Wolverhampton are broadcasting for 24 hours on KICFM to help Children in Need
Young people in Wolverhampton are supporting Children in Need by taking part in a 24 hour broadcast on KICFM. From 12pm on Friday 13th November Station Manager Kenny Mach and Project Worker Jamie Powis will be hosting a special Children In Need show. They have to talk through the night, one of them has to be present in the studio at all times and they can only play two songs in a row. Yes, they have to be awake for 24 hours.

We have got some fantastic give-a-ways planned ranging from energy drinks to free t-shirts.
KICFM is a volunteer radio station in Wolverhampton that encourages young people (between the ages of 16-25) to get involved in the media. The station is run by young people for young people. Volunteers present, produce, interview and edit everything on KIC. KICFM staff train volunteers how to do all of these things to a high industry standard all for free. It fantastic experience, builds up confidence, develops social skills and is a lot of fun.
Throughout the night our volunteers will attempt to raise as much money as possible for a very good cause.
